The teachers talk about how story plays out in the classroom in many different contexts: in the books they read and connecting them to the dramatic play, in imaginary worlds which emerge throughout the outdoor space, and in the archiving of the kids’ artwork and photos throughout the year to help them construct and connect with the narratives of their own lives. I have definitely not encountered this in any other school I have visited and am thrilled by it.
